When using Azimuth for processing crypto payments, it's important to note that you are agreeing to our Terms of Service which include Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. These documents outline the legal agreement between you and Azimuth and explain how we handle your data and transactions. It's recommended that you read through them carefully before using our service.

How does a crypto payment transaction work on Azimuth?

When a customer chooses to pay with crypto on your website, they will be prompted to send the payment to Azimuth's smart contract on the respective blockchain, and from there to the wallet address you provided to Azimuth during the integration process. Once the payment is confirmed on the blockchain, Azimuth will trigger theonPaymentSuccessCallback callback (see callbacks for more details) you provided to notify you of the successful transaction.

What assets does Azimuth support?

Azimuth currently supports payments made on multiple blockchain networks including Ethereum, Polygon, Binance Smart Chain, Arbitrum, Optimism, Fantom and Avalanche. For each of these networks, Azimuth supports both native tokens and various token standards such as ERC-20 and BEP-20 (refer to payment methods for more details). Additionally, Azimuth can easily add support for additional networks and tokens to meet your specific needs.

Is it possible to integrate Azimuth with my existing payment processing system?

Yes, it is possible to integrate Azimuth with your existing payment processing system. Our onPaymentSuccessCallback function can be used to integrate Azimuth with your existing system (see callbacks for details). When a payment is successfully processed on Azimuth, the onPaymentSuccessCallback function will be triggered and you can use this callback to update your internal systems with the payment information.

How long does it take for a transaction to be processed on Azimuth?

The time it takes for a transaction to be processed on Azimuth depends on the blockchain network used and the congestion of that network. Generally, transactions on Ethereum can take several minutes to be confirmed, while transactions on other networks like Binance Smart Chain or Polygon may be faster.

Why am I able to make a payment with an unsupported cryptocurrency on Azimuth?

If you attempt to make a payment with an unsupported cryptocurrency on Azimuth, the payment will not go through and you will receive an error message.

How do I verify that I am sending my crypto to the correct network?

When making a payment with Azimuth, make sure to double-check the network and the prompted wallet to ensure you are sending your payment to the correct location. You can also use a blockchain explorer to verify the transaction.

Why can't Azimuth send these funds back to me automatically?

Azimuth is a payment processor and does not hold custody of customer funds. Once a payment is confirmed on the blockchain, it is considered final and cannot be reversed or refunded by Azimuth.

Can I use Azimuth to accept payments in multiple cryptocurrencies?

Yes, Azimuth supports payments in multiple cryptocurrencies on different blockchain networks. You can choose to accept payments in the cryptocurrencies that are supported by Azimuth. Refer the full list of supported cryptocurrencies in the payment methods section.

What happens if a transaction on Azimuth fails or is cancelled?

If a transaction on Azimuth fails or is cancelled, the customer will need to initiate a new transaction. Azimuth does not hold or control the customer's funds, so it cannot refund or cancel a transaction.

What security measures does Azimuth have in place to protect against fraud or hacking?

Azimuth uses industry-standard security measures to protect against fraud and hacking. It also follows best practices for storing and handling customer data.
